SAFEGUARDING

Here at All Saints church, we take seriously our care of children and vulnerable adults.  We do this in accordance with national safeguarding legislation and strict Diocesan guidance.  As such, we have adopted the Guidance provided by the House of Bishops. The six policy commitments based on five foundational statements can be found in the booklet 'Promoting a Safer Church'.

We have set up policies and guidelines to enable us to promote safer practices in all church activities.
We also seek to ensure that safer recruitment practice is followed in relation to all volunteers and paid staff.  This includes running DBS checks for everyone who offers to work with children, young people and vulnerable adults and ensuring our volunteers have received the required training.
