The Friends of All Saints', Patcham

The Friends of All Saints', Patcham, has been established to promote and support the maintenance of our beautiful and historic church and its churchyard, including its preservation, repair, improvement and enhancement.

All Saints' Church is a grade 2* listed building parts of which date back to the 12th century. Work has recently been completed on the repair and restoration of the fabric of the building and the conservation of the 13th century Doom painting. The cost of this work has been met by a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund of £100,000, matched by All Saints' PCC - another £100,000, together with a number of smaller grants from All Churches Trust, Garfield Weston,  Sussex Historic Churches Trust, Ian Askew Charitable Trust and Wolfson Foundation - all recognising the importance of this wonderful historic building. There remains a need to raise a further £100,000 or so to make improvements to the church facilities, including the creation of an essential additional fire exit to meet health and safety requirements, a disabled toilet and kitchen facilities.

We ask for an annual donation of at least £10 per person to join the Friends. There is also a Corporate Membership category, with a minimum donation of £30. A membership application form is here and information about donating to the Friends is here. All donations and monies raised by the Friends will be for the repair and improvement of the church building and its facilities.
